This document outlines the Returns and Refund Policy for all B2B (business-to-business) purchases of precious gemstones (“Products”) from AbhaShri Gems (“we,” “us,” “our”). By confirming an order with us, you (“Client,” “you,” “your”) agree to the terms of this policy.
1. General Policy: All Sales Are Final
Due to the nature of B2B wholesale transactions, the complexities of international shipping, customs duties, and the high value of our Products, we operate on a no-return and no-refund basis. All sales are considered final once the order is confirmed and shipped.
We take great care to provide high-resolution photos, videos, and accurate descriptions, including any certifications, for each Product. We encourage clients to perform all due diligence and ask any questions before confirming an order.
2. Non-Refundable Advance Payment
To confirm an order and reserve the selected Products, a non-refundable advance payment is required. In the event of an order cancellation by the Client at any stage, this advance payment will be forfeited to cover the administrative, sourcing, and opportunity costs incurred by us.
3. Exception: Verifiably Incorrect Shipment
The only exception to our no-return policy is in the extremely rare and unlikely event that the Client receives a Product that is demonstrably and verifiably incorrect—meaning it does not match the item detailed in the official invoice and order confirmation (e.g., wrong gemstone type or a significant discrepancy in carat weight).
Minor variations in colour due to monitor settings or natural inclusions within the gemstones do not qualify as an incorrect shipment.
4. Procedure for Claiming an Incorrect Shipment
To make a claim under this specific exception, the Client must adhere strictly to the following procedure:
- Immediate Notification: You must notify us in writing via email within 48 hours of receiving the delivery. The subject line must read: “Incorrect Shipment Claim – Order #[Your Order Number]”.
- Provide Evidence: The email must include:
- A clear description of the discrepancy.
- High-quality, unaltered photographs and videos showing the incorrect Product and the original, unopened, tamper-proof packaging it arrived in.
- A photo of the shipping label and invoice received with the parcel.
- Do Not Tamper: The original security seal on the gemstone’s individual packaging must not be broken or tampered with in any way. Breaking the seal will void any claim.
- Our Verification: We will investigate the claim thoroughly. If we verify that a shipping error was made on our part, we will provide instructions for the secure return of the incorrect item at our expense.
5. Resolution
Upon the successful and verified return of the incorrect item in its original, untampered condition, we will ship the correct Product as per the original order. No cash refunds will be issued.
This policy ensures transparency and security for all parties involved in high-value international transactions. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
